Dr. Natalie Stipanovic, Ph.D. Natalie Stipanovic, Ph.D. is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. She is an assistant professor at the University of Louisville in the Department of Educational & Counseling Psychology. Dr. Stipanovic has over 10 years of experience in psychology and counseling and has worked with a both adults and children. Her central focus is on children and adolescents and issues related behavior disorders, learning disabilities, alcohol and drug usage/addiction, and clinical issues (e.g. depression, anxiety). Dr. Stipanovic’s counseling philosophy is that a whole-person, systemic approach is necessary for effective treatment and change. This means that for individuals to be successful in overcoming diversity we must be comprehensive in our approach (cognition, behavior, emotions, health, etc.) and we cannot solely rely on individual treatment—in that family, school/work, and social interventions are necessary for change.
