Public Speaking for the Terrified
This presentation addresses an issue familiar to all – the fear of public speaking. “Speech anxiety” is a problem, which afflicts over 80% of the population. Most people have no formal training in public speaking, no matter what the type of employment, all people can benefit by improving their ability to communicate ideas powerfully, clearly, and confidently.
In this workshop participants will learn to:
Cope with “speech anxiety.” Minimize body language, tone, and style. Give impromptu talks. Utilize audio-visual aids. Maximize the use of the question and answer technique. Better organize speeches.
Develop a personal plan to improve public speaking ability.
This workshop can be adapted from a one (1) hour, to a half-day or a full-day seminar.
